That is how I wound up the Cabin Max Oxford Travel Backpack. If you aren’t a reader, scroll to the bottom for a video review!

Considering this was a “my flight leaves in 3 days and I don’t have luggage purchase”, I was quite pleased with my pick. It didn’t offer me all of the support my Tortuga Setout backpack does, but it certainly met my needs.  It was able to meet the requirements for EasyJet’s bag restrictions, which was one of my worries. It comes with padded top and side handles to make hanging or carrying more efficient. Most importantly, I was able to fit two weeks on winter clothing in this baby and that was my top priority!

Although I failed at minimalism, some things did stick and I decided I didn’t need three travel backpacks plus my basic Retreat from Herschel so I sent this baby back last week. That said, if I hadn’t picked up the FÖRENKLA from Ikea I certainly would’ve  kept it to use on shorter trips instead of my Herschel. Despite the lack of padding, it offers more accessibility and space than my Herschel.
